As you might have been able to tell, we’ve been doing some changing! We’ve thought and thought and decided to put aside Mountain Man Healing, and are now embracing the name Ozark Healing Traditions, which we hope will show the wide variety of information covered by the blog and classes. Traditions of healing in the Ozarks are as varied as there are healers. Some work with plants, others with prayers or songs, some through the divine healing powers of spirits. No matter the practice, these traditions are all bound together by a shared heritage and connection to the land. Moving forward, I hope to be able to showcase many of these traditions, both from our past and those still thriving in a modern world. So, welcome to Ozark Healing Traditions!
