Day 93: Mount Sequoyah Spent my morning today hiking up on Mount Sequoyah and the surrounding woods. It’s a wonderful, hidden treasure here in town. Morning glory Big ol’ grandpa oak. I couldn’t get my arms around it all the way it was so big. Shagbark hickory Trail buddy. Saw three more before the hike was finished. Old homestead walls up on the mountain. These structures are familiar sites in a lot of the woods around the Ozarks. Mountain spring, just up the trail from the homestead. Rock bridge? Art? Mountain spirits. There are a lot of these rock piles out in the woods, possibly old homestead foundations or something much older. The spirits of cairns like this run the show up on the mountain. View from on top of the mountain. Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading... Related Comments are closed.
