Hiked around Devil’s Den State Park with some friends. I have a lot of great memories of the place since when I was a kid we’d go camp there pretty much every weekend in the Fall. It’s changed a lot over the years, but is still a wonderful place to wander.
Found some medicinals while hiking (anytime I’m in the woods, even just for fun, I’m definitely still working).
5 is an unidentified shelf fungus, any help would be great since I’m terrible at identifying mushrooms.
6 is Mullein, Verbascum thapsus, tsaliyu′sti “tobacco-like” in Cherokee.
7 is Self Heal, Prunella vulgaris, ganigwiliski “clotted blood” or “it is bruised” in Cherokee.
